Saturday’s workshop: Gravity, Grace & Levity

In this session you will learn how to strengthen your connection to the subtle elements of Gravity & Grace, gateways into what ancient yogis referred to as sukshma sharira – the subtle “non-physical” bodies within our physical body.
Movement during this class will focus on a simple poses and gravity-inspired movement that prepare and warm up the major joints of the body in preparation for more dynamic yoga.
Sunday’s workshop: Softness, Strength & Flow
Sunday 30 March | 13.30-16.30 | Studio One
In this session, you will explore more dynamic practices of yoga, working efficiently and safely with the subtle body for any style of yoga and any level of experience.
Movement during this class will include a 3-part sequence, starting with a slow warm-up for our body’s connective tissue network and major joints; followed by a dynamic (Vinyasa-style) sequence of poses that build balance, heat, and whole-body circulation; and finishing with a closing sequence for integration and mental clarity, that ultimately produces lightness (Levity) and joy (Ananda).
At its heart, these workshops will awaken intuitive ways to find balance and softness in your practice and help you create a yoga-inspired guide for living and healing. This type of practice has a profound effect on your nervous and immune systems, allowing the fullest potential of your body’s ability to heal naturally.
