Yin / Insight Yoga with Sarah Powers

With Sarah powers

Dive deep with this 2-day intensive designed to create the inspiration and structure of an integral practice blending Yin/Yang yoga with Buddhist Mindfulness/Inquiry practice.

Our dedicated yoga and Mindfulness meditation practices help orient our center of gravity in the center of our being, aligning our attention with our inner life, while helping us relate to ourselves and the world around us with more care, clarity and aliveness.

Drawing from her books Insight Yoga and Lit From Within Sarah will share her unique blend of Yin Yoga (passive floor poses that nourish the connective tissues of the joints and harmonize the energy body), with a slow flow practice, Pranayama, and a clear and accessible meditation and compassion practice.

Saturday

  • Unpacking the how and why of Yin Yoga mingled with Surya Namaskar.

  • Mindfulness of the Body.

  • Yin Yoga for the digestive organs mingled

  • Mindfulness of feelings and self-inquiry.

Sunday

  • Yin Yoga to boost our immune system

  • Mindfulness of the Mind.
