Restorative Reset

With Lizzie Lasater

This two-day workshop with Lizzie Lasater is designed to reset your nervous system through the power of Restorative Yoga. You’ll experience deep rest and learn practical tools to carry these teachings into your daily life.

When we want to feel differently, we often turn to exercise, food, Netflix, shopping, or even wine and drugs. These are all ways to shift our internal state—essentially attempts to manipulate the nervous system. But how can we do this more consciously? What tools does yoga offer to positively influence the nervous system?
Join Restorative yoga enthusiast, tired twin mama, and California optimist Lizzie Lasater for a Restorative Reset. To decrease your baseline stress level, we’ll explore simple yet powerful techniques, including somatic movement, stillness, Restorative yoga, breathwork, and meditation—mixed with a bit of laughter and a pinch of polyvagal theory.

Day 1:

Introduction to Restorative Yoga and the nervous system

Restorative Yoga is more than physical relaxation. Learn how it can regulate your nervous system, reduce stress, and find deep rest—challenging the belief that “doing” is the only path to wellness. We’ll explore the power of rest and why it’s essential for well-being.

Exploring Savasana - the foundation of rest

Savasana (corpse pose) is the foundation of Restorative Yoga. You’ll learn to set up your body with props, understand what to do with your mind, and see how this simple pose is a potent tool for calming the nervous system.

Day 2:

Restorative Yoga poses for deep relaxation

We’ll build on Day 1, exploring variations of Savasana, each with unique benefits and energetic signatures. You’ll leave with simple tools to reset your body and mind, mastering these practices as strategies for self-care.

Integrating Restorative practices into your daily life

Learn how to weave these benefits into your routine. You’ll gain techniques like breathwork and mindfulness to bring more ease into your day—even amidst a busy schedule. This final session will highlight how to make rest and renewal an everyday priority.
