This summer retreat is designed to deepen your understanding of the Bandhas, facilitating a profound cleanse of both body and mind. Through integration of Asana, Pranayama, Kriyas, and Bandhas, delve into the power of breath. Through mindful organization of the body structure and conscious practice, you're invited to embrace your full potential!

Program:
Day 1: Deepening Consciousness through the Bandhas
One and two plane standing postures.
Begin your journey by discovering the Bandhas, the deep involuntary muscles. Through conscious exploration and adherence to the principle of Ahimsa (non-violence), discover stability and relaxation (Sthiram Sukham) while continuously activating the deep muscles of the body, freeing and strengthening the spine.
Day 2: Spiral Dynamics & Twisting
Dive deeper into Ahimsa as we explore Spiral Dynamics. Embracing sensitivity we will explore twists to detoxify and purify the body and mind. Standing, sitting, lying and inverted twists accessing the Bandhas to reach a deeper level of introspection and expand awareness throughout the body.
Day 3: Exploring Pranayama and Kriyas - Shoulder and Head Inversions
Explore the symbiotic relationship between the Bandhas and the Ujjayi breath, understanding their influence on all the body systems: lymphatic, circulatory, digestive, repiratory, etc...
Through effective activation of the Bandhas enter into a deeper level of introspection to rest in deep states of relaxation.
Day 4: Integration and Expansion - Backbends
As our journey culminates, integrate the lessons learned into your practice, approaching yoga as an organic process. Embrace the structural integrity of Asana, the fluidity of Vinyasa, the transformative energy of Bandha, the rhythmic quality of Pranayama, and the expansive awareness of Drushti, the quality of mindfulness.

This summer retreat is an opportunity to go deeper, it will be tailored for students with some yoga experience & time invested in their practice (intermediate level).
