Following the path of personal exploration of somatic research and gravity, Liliana will offer 4 days of intense and focused holistic yoga practice. Embark on a 4-day journey to continue your path of self-discovery and transformation with more knowledge and awareness.
In these summer days you will be able to engage with yoga in a dynamic and simultaneously reflective way: more challenging asanas will be explored combined with the practice of pranayama to discover the inner movement of body, mind, breath, and the interrelationship that binds them together.
The Summer Asana Lab will be a yoga retreat to deepen the Bandhas, where we will help to deeply cleanse the body and mind: A summer retreat integrating Asana, Pranayama, Kriyas and Bandhas, which will help us to investigate the power of the breath.
Through mindful organization of the body structure and conscious practice, you are invited to embrace your full potential!
Program:
Deepening Consciousness through the Bandhas
This intensive retreat is designed to discover what the Bandhas are, i.e. the deep involuntary muscles. Following Sthiram Sukham's principle of being as stable and relaxed as possible, we will explore the integrity of the spine through continuous activation of the deep muscles of the body.
We will explore Spiral Dynamics trough Inverted and back bending postures
Through the most challenging asanas ,we will awaken the deep muscles of the body, clarifying how to access them to reach a deeper level of introspection expanding awareness to the whole body.
The Bandhas:
Hastabanda - Padabandha
Merubanda
Sarvangabandha
Jalandharabandha -Uddiyanabandha - Mulabandha
Kriyas and Pranayama Techniques:
To study the effective activation of the Bandhas and their influence on all systems of the human body, we will additionally introduce some Pranayama techniques.
This summer retreat is an opportunity to go deeper, it will be geared for students with some yoga experience & time invested in their practice (intermediate level).
The further we advance on the path of mindfulness, the more we will discover that this body is the sacred temple that leads us to unity.
