Hands-on Assists & Adjustments Intensive
With leah kline
Do you have a 200+ hour Vinyasa or Hatha yoga teacher training under your belt, yet feel the need to develop yourself further in around the art and science of hands on-adjusting & assisting? Often as a new teacher - you have just started to really see people in their body patterns and begin to want to intervene - but how? where? when? We have something designed with you in mind:
Between the first few years after your first 200+ teacher training its common for many yoga teachers to come to a moment when you want to serve your students more deeply and you recognise that guiding/leading a class is not enough. Often new teachers don't know how to grow as a teacher. Under the guidance of Experienced Teacher Trainer, Léah Kline, you will learn the necessary skills & tools to recognize when and how to assist students.
The opposite is also true: poor, unskilful or ambitious assists can lead to a feeling of crossing boundaries or injuries or worse, sometimes people feel unsafe in your class and will never return (to you or even to yoga).
It is your ethical duty as a yoga teacher to learn how to see bodies and if you choose to touch - to learn how to do so well. This is a life-long learning and very worthwhile! The benefits can be profound.
This program will give you a good foundation or review to feel more confident and to learn what you need to be aware of.
