Tanya Shiels

Having been a dancer for many years Tanya turned to Pilates and yoga to facilitate rehabilitation and integrated wellness. After rigid training these practices felt like a breath of fresh air and became means to improve every aspect of her life.

 This freedom led to her falling in love with the joy that movement had to offer once again. She started attending trainings in yoga (vinyasa and yin), Pilates (aerial and mat) and barre and shows no sign of stopping!

Her aim in movement is to create an awareness of the connection between one's mind and body and to provide each student with the tools (such as alignment, core control, flexibility and enjoyment of movement) to further their practice both in and out of the studio. With a combination of her trainings each class offers the best of her experience. Expect breath-led classes full of creative movement.

Her classes provide each student an opportunity to challenge themselves in a safe space and find a strength within themselves that they may not have known they have.
