Sylvia Reynen
In 2010 Sylvia discovered yoga as a way of getting out of her head and more in touch with her body and feelings. At that point in her life, she worked as a trainer/coach for a training company, but her secret passion was teaching bodyshape and pilates at a gym in Utrecht.
In 2013 she completed the 200hrs Yoga Moves Teacher training and started teaching yoga and pilates at various yoga studio’s. Over the years, her interest in the spiritual side of yoga grew. To deepen her knowledge on yoga philosophy she stayed for three weeks in an ashram in India in 2016. Sylvia continues to explore her own learning path by regularly participating in workshops and training modules. In 2015 she completed a Yin Teacher Training and in 2017 she completed a 200hrs Ashtanga Teacher Training. She finds her inspiration with teachers such as David Lurey, James Reeves and David Swenson.
Sylvia likes and teaches various styles of yoga: Hatha, Yin yoga, Yoga Nidra, Pilates. But her first and biggest love is for Ashtanga yoga. As a teacher, she offers a safe and open atmosphere, where you can practice yoga at your own level and where you can be with yourself. In her classes she invites you to focus on body and breath awareness, alignment and being mindfully present.
Besides teaching yoga, Sylvia organizes sound relaxations and is a certified Mindfulness trainer and Life Style coach.
