Mariella Luce
Mariella is a yoga teacher and sound healer. With roots in the sunny south of Italy, her yoga journey began during her high school years. Since then, yoga has remained a constant life's ups and downs.
In 2021, Mariella moved to Utrecht with a couple of suitcases and a heart full of dreams. One of these dreams was teaching yoga, which became reality as she completed her yoga teacher training in June 2023 and Sound Healing training a few months later.
For Mariella, yoga has always been a source of comfort and relief, and she hopes to share the same feeling with others through her teaching. For this reason, she feels on cloud nine when her students come to her saying that her classes leave them feeling deeply relaxed and recharged.
Her Hatha and Slow Flow classes are often centered around slow and conscious movement, and guided by an intention or theme. According to her, each flow has its own unique story to tell. During the practice, Mariella enjoys leaving space and time for her students to explore yoga poses by moving freely and intuitively, sometimes inviting them to move with eyes closed. At other times, she encourages her students to stand in stillness, allowing for deep introspection and self-exploration within the asanas. You may see her bring her Tibetan bowls at the studio, as she struggles to stay away from them for too long.
