Emese Deana

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Emese’s journey with yoga began more than 15 years ago, when she was looking for a way to balance the demands of a busy corporate career, motherhood, perimenopause, high level of stress all together eventually resulting in a burn out. What started as a personal recovery soon became a profound path of healing, self-discovery and transformation.

Today, Emese has more than 10 years of experience supporting students in recovering from prolonged stress, burnout, anxiety, insomnia, depression and long COVID. Through a combination of restorative yoga, breathing techniques based on Max Strom’s Inner Axis, gentle Qigong exercises and nervous system regulation practices, she helps students slow down, restore their energy and reconnect with the wisdom of their bodies. She is also a certified menopause yoga teacher and is passionate about supporting women through the transitions of perimenopause, menopause and beyond.

Emese’s teaching is deeply influenced by two internationally respected teachers. She regularly assists Lizzie Lasater in her Restorative Yoga teacher trainings and Max Strom in his Inner Axis and breathwork trainings. Working closely alongside them allows her to continuously deepen her understanding of restorative yoga, breath, trauma-informed relaxation and the connection between body, mind and the nervous system. Alongside yoga and breathwork, Emese offers deeply relaxing massage and tantric massage. For the past three years, she has been guiding women through tantra courses and private sessions, creating safe spaces to cultivate self-love, reconnect with the body and embrace sensuality and sexuality as a natural source of vitality and life force. Her tantra work is gentle, grounded and centred around embodiment, softness and authentic connection.

In every class and session, Emese pays equal attention to the body, the breath and the mind. Her warm, gentle, empathetic and passionate approach allows students to feel safe, seen and supported exactly as they are. She believes that healing is not about fixing ourselves, but about creating enough space to listen inward, soften and reconnect with who we truly are.

Her sweet Hungarian accent and spontaneous sense of humour bring lightness to her teaching, inviting students to approach both yoga and life with a little more softness — and a pinch of sugar instead of salt.

Emese is a certified Restorative Yoga teacher (Lizzie and Judith Lasater), holds a 200-hour Inner Axis Teacher Training with Max Strom, a 200-hour Vinyasa Flow Teacher Training with Yoga Moves, has completed Max Strom’s Breath to Heal training, is a certified Hot Yoga teacher trained by Kristin Campbell, and is a certified Menopause Yoga teacher by Petra Coveney. She continues to deepen her knowledge through ongoing trainings, workshops and assisting internationally renowned teachers.

At the heart of Emese’s work is one mission: to support women through transformation — letting go of what no longer serves them and rediscovering themselves as stronger, softer, more authentic and fully alive women in every new phase of life.
