Welcome to the Revolution of Phone Yoga! Or Is It?

Did you just click on "Phone Yoga"

expecting a groundbreaking fusion of smartphones and savasana?

Gotcha!

While we don’t actually have a yoga class designed around your smartphone (imagine that!), we do want to talk about something equally important: mindfulness and respect during yoga practice. No, it’s not an actual class, but it is a movement—one that invites us all to be more present, connected, and distraction-free on the mat.

Why We’re Talking About Phones in Yoga

We understand the world revolves around staying connected, but when you step into our studio, it’s time to disconnect – from notifications, selfies, and scrolling – and reconnect with yourself. Yoga is about finding presence, balance, and peace. But let’s face it: nothing shatters the calm quite like a phone going off in the middle of shavasana.

Studio Etiquette: Let’s Keep Yoga Sacred

At Yoga Moves, we believe in creating a quiet, serene, and respectful space for everyone. To help us all stay aligned with that goal, we kindly ask:

  • Phones on silent (or better yet, switched off) before you enter the studio.

  • No social media scrolling or selfies during class – the only moment you need to capture is the one you’re living right now.
