Vinyasa

Vinyasa Yoga is a vigorous, dynamic style which links breath and movement through a sequence of postures that are linked by awareness, depth and meditative flow. Vinyasa means to flow, to stay awake, to be connected to the circular nature of things. In Vinyasa classes teachers usually work creatively and follow the mood of the students – or the weather, season, time of day – to help determine the pace and structure of the class.

Prana Flow™  is a style of Vinyasa Yoga created by Shiva Rea. Prana Flow classes are designed to unfold organically in a specific order to prepare students for the more challenging yoga poses in a balanced and harmonious way. Students learn to flow smoothly between poses and to synchronise their movements to the rhythm of the breath wave. In this integrated yoga system, the asanas, (Yoga poses) pranayamas, (breathing exercises) mantras, (songs or chants) and movement meditations are integrated in beautiful creative sequences to awaken the natural flow of our creative intelligence.
