In this workshop we will chant, discuss and share in the teachings of Patanjali’s “Samadhi Pada,” the first chapter of The Yoga Sutras. Reference to the recent book Young Yogi and the Mind Monsters, will be on-hand to help us understand this complex philosophy in a fun and tangible way.

Originally from Colorado, Sonja Radvila has been a daily practitioner of Ashtanga yoga for over fifteen years and teaching since 2008. She is authorized to share this method as a Level 2 instructor by the KPJAYI, in Mysore, India and teaches internationally. She returns regularly to learn from the source of this practice and is grateful to share what she has learned from all her teachers, her own ups and downs with practice, and the many students who have shown her the way.
Sonja is also trained in Indian classical dance, founder and maker of Rasa Malas jewelry, and author of Young Yogi and the Mind Monsters, a version of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras through the eyes of a child, which will be published in 2019.
