Yoga Moves Hot is an alignment-based yoga practice based on the Tapasya method. Founded in 2012 by Kristin Campbell, Tapasya is a spiritually uplifting and sustainable alignment-based method of Hot-Hatha and Hatha-Vinyasa yoga. Literally, Tapasya means “the willingness to endure intensity for the sake of transformation”.
Yoga Moves HOT is a hot yoga system that draws intelligence from modern hatha yoga styles, while the intensity and challenges of traditional hot methods and practices are maintained. YMHOT incorporates sophisticated alignment principles, innovative sequencing, and a light-hearted approach. The result is a style that allows for creative expression and spiritual depth, while safely maintaining the intensity and restorative effects of hot yoga.

You will learn all the necessary skills to teach Hot Yoga classes safely, clearly and intelligently while deepening your understanding of modern, alignment-based hot yoga. The unique sequence promotes joint safety, and has been assessed and endorsed by physiotherapists – making it a powerful, nurturing and accessible practice for all levels. Within the context of a set series, teachers are encouraged to teach from their own unique experience allowing freedom and variations.
State of the art infrared heat, it is safe, accessible and aligned with our values: to promote health and wellbeing. The room is heated to approximately 40°C with 40% humidity. Fusing heat and principles of alignment with the remembrance of intention and self-awareness. The heat facilitates safer, deeper stretching, a detoxifying sweat and a healthy glow.

Kristin asks you to attend at least 4 HOT HATHA classes at Yoga Moves (and many more if you live near by!) and observe at least 2 classes in the weeks leading up to the TT.
Kristin Campbell: With passion and precision and a knack for holding space in her own loving, accessible and nurturing way, Kristin teaches sustainable, alignment-based, light-hearted and sweaty yoga very much inspired by 16 years of teaching, 9 years owning a yoga studio, 10 years of training teachers. She is the founder of Tapasya yoga and enjoys training teachers over the world.
