What is your story? How does it affect your yoga?

With Coral Brown

Expect to dive deep into your own nature, and challenge limiting personal beliefs.

What is your story? And how does it shape cultures, influence personal action, and both inspire and constrain you from living your best life?

Join Coral Brown, international yoga teacher (ERYT500) and holistic psychotherapist (MA, LMHC) in this exploration of the personal mythology and the power of storytelling as a resource for illuminating your personal journey.

The word mythos translates from Greek as the ‘story of the people’. It is through the power of story that we pass along the parameters of societal, personal and familial values. However, the validity and impact of these stories is dependent upon how relative they are to current cultural understanding. Once a myth is revealed to be outdated, it is no longer needed.

Most of us are living under the weight of old myths that no longer serve a purpose and therefore hold us back from living a fully embodied and evolved life. In this workshop we will shed outdated stories. We will use narrative and Jungian depth psychology to discover and reshape our personal mythology in an effort to better embody the stories in life we want to be telling.
