Never done yoga?  Start in our intro to yoga course.

You will learn the basics of yoga and yoga etiquette. Be introduced to breathing, moving & relaxation techniques. Learn the most common poses in a safe and guided way. Explore differences between the various styles. Be prepared to work hard but intelligently!

Perfect for beginners or yogis that want to restart their practice.

  • Eat light before class
  • Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in
  • Inform your teacher about injuries, conditions or pregnancy before class
  • Be in time and start your class relaxed
  • Valuable things, like your wallet or phone, can be taken into the studio
  • Please switch off your phone (consider leaving it at home)

About the teacher

Claire Hesp

Claire has been teaching dance and performing whilst traveling the world since 2004, learning from great teachers and cultures along the way. Her path to yoga evolved around the same time, noticing how yoga helped her not only on a physical level but mentally even more so. In 2011 Claire completed the Vinyasa Flow ttc at Brahmani Yoga in Goa, India with Julie Martin.

Yoga to her is a path of self discovery…bit by bit peeling off layers to come closer towards the connection of true self. She keeps evolving and learning through diverse workshops, classes, her own practice, life itself and the connection with the people that surround her.

Claire teaches dynamic vinyasa flow as well as light slow flow and restorative yoga. Her classes contain a great sense of calm and positivity and allow room for play and self discovery. She has a great body awareness which she is eager to share with her students offering various modifications combined with hands on adjustments to help them.

She uses themes and repetition allowing her students to get out of their minds and into their bodies. Claire believes everyone should find their own path within yoga and offers people a safe and friendly environment to do so.
