Birthlight | Fertility Yoga Teacher Training

With Françoise Freedman

Learn how to lead an experiential journey that helps women gain a deeper understanding of the miracle of conceiving a baby

The course is packed with practices that promote seamless continuity from preparation for conception to practical support during the delicate period around implantation up to viable placenta functioning during the first trimester of pregnancy.

Learn about the effects of stress and various reproductive disorders on women’s physiology, as these are frequently responsible for delays and difficulties that women experience when they wish to conceive. From a holistic view we cover preparation for conception with poses, gentle movement and micro-movements integrating the use of the breath.

Learn:

  • How to integrate a set of simple yoga practices both restorative and energetic that can enhance conception.
  • Yoga practices especially beneficial for the first trimester after conception
  • To teach Fertility Yoga classes for women
  • To teach Fertility Yoga workshops for women with or without their partners.
  • A comprehensive range of effective practices yoga-based relaxation techniques, visualization, affirmations, mudras and mantras reduce anxiety and to help release psychosomatic obstacles to conception.

The course also includes practical resources for helping women to embrace the principles of yoga and promote day-to-day happiness and wellbeing while trying to conceive, particularly if they have had difficulties over a long time.

Partners can be involved in Fertility Yoga workshops for their own benefit as well as for supporting women with confidence and understanding. Yoga-based resources provided women and couples greater resilience and comfort in the advent of disappointing early miscarriages or failed IVF treatments.
