14 October | Afternoon Workshop

With Lizzie Lasater

Using the body to access meditation

Bodyfulness is using the body to access meditation
Bodyfulness is de-accelerating to make space for introversion and insight.
Bodyfulness is a serious but non-obsessive, lighthearted, and pleasurable exploration of silence.

You are safe: now is the moment to let go of ambition and give yourself permission to exhale.

This workshop is an opportunity to surrender, let go of the weight of your body, and receive support. What could be better? Join Lizzie Lasater to learn her potent and deeply personal blend of dance, gentle asana practices, pranayama, and restorative yoga to access deep meditation. After the workshop, you’ll be equipped to continue this practice on your own, and share meditation with your students. You will learn to enjoy the juicy effects of silence, and move back into your day with a renewed feeling of expansiveness.

About the teacher

Lizzie Lasater

Raised in San Francisco and trained as a designer, Lizzie Lasater teaches restorative yoga internationally and online. She sometimes jokes that yoga “runs in the family” because her Mom, Judith Hanson Lasater, co-founded Yoga Journal Magazine and has been teaching since 1971.  Lizzie posts daily on social media about the pleasure of deceleration. She lives in Salzburg with her Austrian husband.
