The power of touch in yoga
Traditionally the primary method of teaching Ashtanga Yoga is through Hands-on Adjustments with the aim to help the student go into the posture deeper and further in a safe way. It has been taught from teacher to student with an individualised approach and primarily through the teacher’s hands. This Hands-on Adjustment approach is what really transmits the understanding of this practice.
This workshop will focus on how to give Adjustments for the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga. We will learn to work both theoretically and practically by adjusting each other applying what we have learned during these 3 days. There will be time to assist each posture, lots of time for repetition, feedback and discussion. It is a safe place to learn the art of Adjusting.
