Karina Rodak

“You are a human being, not human doing” is something you will hear a lot, if you take a class with Karina. Her playful and functional approach invites you to step outside the rules of traditional yoga, focusing more on how the poses FEEL instead of how they LOOK. 

She believes that everyone has its own unique superpower lying within the body. She is determined to help you find it too. Yoga for her is the tool to re-connect and re-discover oneself, to quiet down the internal analysing and judging and bring up the experience of simply being alive and breathing. It is the way to meet yourself in the most intimate and safe way. To make space for the emotions and thoughts and cope with the demands of modern life. 

Karina’s style is a fusion of everything she learned along her 10 year movement journey. Being part of a dance community gave her insight to a creative expression. She gained deep anatomical knowledge by becoming a personal trainer. Pilates taught her the importance of alignment and core engagement but it was yoga, that combined it all together. 

During her class, you can expect challenging but fun transitions, down-to-earth philosophy and loads of little knowledge nuggets, that can be applied to your daily life. She wants you to come out feeling strong in your body but also empowered with knowledge. She is a nerd so you may also learn a thing about the brain and neurology. But most importantly - she wants you to come home to yourself to be your own guide, to be your own guru.
